THE FIOLÉR’S HEN
PIWI VENETO IGT FROM SORELI GRAPES
The story behind the bottle
In the wonderful city of Venice, there lived a skilled craftsman known as the Fiolér.
His workshop was an enchanted place, where the humblest of materials was transformed into something extraordinary, a transparent and brilliant substance that could take on wonderful shapes and colors.
Il Fiolér possessed the gift of shaping glass with an almost magical skill.
His creations, from the finest bottle to the most intricate container, were considered treasures of inestimable value, because they allowed for the preservation of precious drinks and medicines over time.
As a reward for his dedication, the universe decided to send him a special gift: it was an enchanted hen, a being capable of producing the thinnest, most golden and brilliant glass eggs.
Inside these eggs, a magical substance prevented anyone who drank it from falling ill.
News of the magic hen spread quickly, and to protect his precious hen, the glassmaker hid her in a secret land, away from prying eyes.
This place, from then on, took the name of Chioccia, a lush refuge where the Fiolér continued to guard the secret.
Everything that grows in this legendary land never gets sick and needs no medicine.

THE SORELI GRAPES
piwi resistant vine
The Soreli grape, a member of the PIWI (Pilzwiderstandsfähige, German term for “mushroom resistant”) grape family, is a hybrid variety selected for its resistance to fungal diseases.
This grape variety, which has Friulano as its progenitor, offers medium-sized clusters with spherical-shaped berries and a golden yellow color.
Soreli is distinguished by its unique flavor profile, incorporating floral and fruity notes, with a slight spiciness and a rather characteristic aromaticity that tends to evolve with aging.
