BASTIONERO

VICENZA DOC CHARDONNAY

The story behind the bottle

In a sun-kissed land cradled by green hills, stood the imposing figure of Bastionero.
A resolute man, strong as the vines that climb the slopes.
His figure, massive and imposing, stood out like a fortress against the blue sky, a symbol of a strength that only the earth can bestow.

As seemingly tough in character as the black basalt on which his mansion stood, he possessed a noble soul, imbued with the sweetness of the land to which he was inextricably linked.

Through his actions, he protected his family and the land he loved with dedication.
His presence was like the warmth of the sun kissing the grapes, intensifying the richness and complexity of each experience.

His spirit, as mysterious as the shadows of the rows of vines at sunset, was imbued with an intensity that only a man deeply connected to knowledge can possess.
A man who embodied strength and loyalty to the land, his name was synonymous with a wine that carries with it the essence of the land and the character of one who defends it with honor.

THE CHARDONNAY GRAPE

The Chardonnay grape is a variety of white grape widely grown throughout the world and considered one of the most versatile for making white wines.

It is known for its adaptability to different winemaking techniques, which means it can produce a wide range of wines, from fresh and fruity to richer and more complex.

The flavor profile of chardonnay can vary greatly depending on the terroir, growing conditions and the winemaker’s decisions.
In our volcanic soil, chardonnay acquires a very interesting minerality and remarkable aromatic complexity.
